Hi Lorraine
Thanks you for your message, nice to hear from so far away. There's no problem receiving them as we get notified when messages get posted, which is great. My Susan Bayford had at least two brothers and two sisters. If you'd like to let me know your email address I can send details on to you, then we can see if anything matches in that generation. I don't have any more information on her father William Bayford as yet.
Look forward to hearing further from you with great interest.
Denise

Love to make a connection if we can. The Bayford who lives in Bishops Stortford that was mentioned was probably Brian, who's father Tubby was the last Bayford living in FP. They are related to me. Brian helped my cousin's wife when she was doing the Bayford research.
Regards, Lorraine

Hi

I was wondering if the Bayford gentleman you know remembers my Bayford family - my father was Lawrence Hugh, know as Laurie,(born 1912) he had an older brother Len (born 1910) and 2 sisters Marie, known as Tiny (born 1916) and Kitty. Their father was Hubert Carter Bayford and worked in the grocery business andf worked for the C0-OP. Hubert's family all came from Barley Croft End, FP. For a time Hubert and his wife Amy were in service to a house in Much Haddam. Dad, I understand had scratched his initials into the glass window of the Post Office in Much Haddam, which I understand was there for a long Time !! Any news, gratefully received. Lorraine from Canada has also been in touch as we think we have a link. Please contact me with any news
